Unlocking nature's blueprint

Who we are

The early mammalian innate immune factors are nature's answer to protect their young prior to having an active immune system of their own. Current pharmaceutical technologies target the pathogens, and the diseases they cause but do little to protect their bodies directly.

Our patent-pending technology and products harness the power of endemic proteins, which have evolved over millions of years to protect all mammals more broadly and safely than we can  today.

History

Founded in 2023 in Ames, IA by a diverse team of human and animal health researchers and investors

Mission

To advance naturally occurring, safe, broad-spectrum active molecules as a new class of antibiotic alternatives which can reduce the risk of resistance, limit disruption of the microbiome and reduce the transmission of harmful microbes

Vision

Proteins of the innate immune system play a crucial role in preventing a wide variety of infections and can be translated pharmaceutically when fully harnessed into pure, bioactive forms

Production Animal Wound Care

A stable, easy to apply solution for field wounds in open environments

MIIP-E2 research has demonstrated the ability to inhibit and prevent pathogenic biofilms from forming in open wounds, promoting the animal’s own immune response to achieve rapid wound closure and healing in austere environments.

Active Innate Immune Factor

The safety, availability, and lack of cold storage requirements for the Multifunctional Innate Immune Proteins (MIIP) we have isolated makes them ideal as multifunctional medical countermeasures capable of being deployed without specialized training or distribution.

MIIP-E2

A Natural Antimicrobial Glycoprotein

  • No known host toxicity

  • Wide ranging antimicrobial efficacy to protect against infection

  • Anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activity promotes rapid healing in response to tissue damage, including radiation

  • Metal chelation activity
